When Sally Gaglini realized that talented kids in Massachusetts didn’t have legal protection, she walked to Beacon Hill, found her way to the State House, and wrote the Massachusetts Child Performer Law with lawmakers. The first act passed in one year, a genuine rarity. Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 231 s. 85 p1/2 known as the MA Child Performer law.
Now over many years, she has served as counsel for parents, children and production companies seeking guidance and strategic assessment with entertainment contracts and careers in the entertainment and media industries for young performers and talent. Of late, social media influencing has emerged as a growing field with children commonly transported to fame and, in particular instances, profit.
